Apologies in advance if posted in wrong forum.
I know someone that requires a high gain pre to go with the F5 Power Amp clone that he is having built. Apparently it only has gain of about 15db, he wants a pre with at least 20db. I have offered him my Nak CA-7, but both of us are unsure whether this would meet his needs. Here are specs, I don't know whether they will help??? It looks like the line stage has a gain of x10: 2v at output for 200mV at input. Not at all certain if the inputs won't overload with standard digital sources, it states max output level 20v...
