Here is a picture of a Brax car amplifier posted
by a member of the CAF forum. I see four rectifiers in a To247, part number FEP30DP, common cathode. http://markg.fortunecity.net/images/brax5.jpg other side of amp. http://markg.fortunecity.net/images/brax4.jpg Four sets of diodes in common cathode, have you seem this configuration to form a standard bridge rectifier *or* is this a more exotic DC-DC converter design ? |

I've known diy psu's where builders used a similar setup and wired both diodes in each case parallel to form 1 rectifier bridge.
