Hi could anyone let me know if there are sutible replacements for these transistors?
2sc1735d 2sa850d 2sb568c 2sd478c 2sc2089gr 2sa942gr Any information would be gratefully recieved. thanks chris |

answer is very simple if the aplication is audio amplifier you can replace them with almost anything u like
pin compatible will be a comfort if available and better specs and quality will perform better any way There is only one thing you need to take care off That will be that chages have to be symmetric ... For example 2sc1735d looks like a bd 139 if you choose that this is the closest available you need to replace the oposite PNP transistor with a BD 140 re bias the all thing and you are done for stages like LTP you need to make sure that the replacement parts meet the specs from any aspects current flow ft voltage cob ...im sure that you will find plenty ... also if your amp features current source on the LTP then its much easier .... rest of stages like VAS or vi limiters choosing parts should be a walk in the park Just last night i fixed a luxman A321 that features a 2SA1239 (unobtainable ) dual DIL6 tranistor.... a couple of closely matched 2N5401 transitors worked like a charm !!!
