Hello All,
I want to use a digital audio pot in my design and i think the CS3310 is quite impressive. But i heard/read some where, and i do not know anymore, that the perfomrnace can be improved. Either by using it in differential mode or in a feedback path. Does any one know ????? grtz, Simon |

TI has a dropin replacement called PGA2311 with a better performance.
Tha PGA2310 is also a dropin replacement but it needs higher supplyvoltage : +/-15V. Sonny |

You can get the PGA2311 or PGA2310 in small quantity at www.digikey.com
Or if you have ARROW located in your country try them but be prepared to take a minimum of ~ 250 - 1000pcs. Sonny |

SORRY ... You can get up to 3 samples of the PGA2310 or the PGA2311 direct from TI.

Simon:
How are you planning to control the device? I share some code for an AVR which was shared with me at: http://www.enteract.com/~mlloyd1/aud...olume-control/ Michael |
