Some of the samples i ordered from ONsemi arrived today.
Two out of the three were marked phillipines and the last one china, this got me a bit worried. Is there any cause for concern that the china ones could be fakes ?? The packaging style is different also from the others.

I guess they use factories all over the world
but even if not fakes, question is whether they differ just slightly from each other in other words, not from same 'batch', for sure |

Atleast its att NPN from one batch and the PNP ones from the other, but i suppose optimum would be both NPN and PNP from same batch for best performance.
Quesion is why they imported the MJW21196's ones and not the MJW21195's The MJL4281A's were also phillipines, the MJL4302's are yet to arrive, i wonder why they sent one order in 3 separate shipments.

Take pictures. If in doubt, send them to OnSemi to look at.

Give yourselves one good reason why On Semi would bother to get "fake" products of their own from somewhere else and send them to their customers as evaluation samples.
Give yourselves another sensible reason why a manuafcturer would make different devices on one wafer. |

They are genuine.
They make good things in China and Russia, too. Most of it in fact. Crap is made everywhere, in USA, Europe and Africa, Japan.
