Hi all,

A friend of mine bought a second hand amp called HA-4700 from HITACHI.

One channel is dead, and I wondered if any of you have a manual for the product.

Hi ,
I have a service manual from 1980. It was to go into the dustbin as it has never been used. Like many DIY guys I find it hard to throw away such things !
I can scan the circuit diagram, if that is what you want.

I got the pdf of the block diagram and the circuit diagram. They are about 200Kb and over 500Kb.So it will have to be emailed to you. The forum will not accept such a large file.

I haven't seen the amp yet, but my friend says that the outputdevices are: 2SC2525 and 2SA1075.

The rest I don't know about yet.

Hi Jens,
The parts layout scan is two files each about 1Mb large. The details are a bit intricate so compressing them may loose detail.
Es gibt text in Deutsch und English ! What do you want?
Should I email them all at a time or leave a gap of an hour between each- enough for you to clear the mail. I dont know how big your In Box is for email.
Tell me what to do.

Hi Jens,
I just emailed you the two files with the parts/pcb layout.
It took ages to go through. My DSL line seems to be down as it is very slow right now. There is some ISP congestion here as my other two mail servers are also crawling. Might pick up speed later in the day. Meantime I will scan the rest of the manual and send it as soon as the network picks up speed.

Bad files

It is pretty late here - about 10.15pm. So if you don't get all the files I must have fallen asleep !!!
I checked my files and they all seem to open fine in Paint.

I am re-sending:
1. Assembly-3
2.Block diagram

4. Circuit2
5. Controls
6. Test
