Is it possiblse to parallel transistors for the thermal compensation ? I have a cooling tunnel that was donated to me that have 4 separate heatsinks that are electrically insulated from each other.
When turning this into a mono amp, would it be possible to put a transistor on each segment and then parallel them and hook them to the biasing circuit ? There are three BD911's on each segment and each half of the output stage consist of two separate heatsink segments, that is six BD911's in parallel. Currently the bias transistor is mounted to one of the four segments with a fan running at all time. |
