Default Solid state guitar amp

Hello !

I'm searching for some good schematic for solid state guitar amp (preamp + power amp). I would like one with moderate power cca. 15W at 4 ohm loudspeaker. I've search the web but without any particular resoult.

Can you help me ?

Hi,

I would guess a LM1875 would be perfect. Check the datasheet for info. For preamp you could use a simple opamp circuit with some diode-clipping and a tonestack. Lot's of info on that on the web.

Regards,
Thijs

Check the index for smaller amps too.

Also look at these tube preamps for guitar.

I also think that LM1875 and op-amp vould be OK but I realy wont some solid state stuff (bipolar or fet) for pre and power amp.

Best regards

Check out this page:

There are a couple variants on that site, they look simple to build

That last post sounds pretty flakey. I have a good schematic for a simple amp but I can't post it.....
