Default What was so special about the Krells with low impedance speakers

That Apogee Scintilla speakers put Krell on the map is well known in audio industry lore.

Looking at the schematic of Krells Class A KSA80b, is there anything that speaks to why this amp should have been better than say a JLH Class A in driving the low impedance Scintilla (besides the number of output devices)?

Any ideas on how this amp could be improved? CCS?
