I have a Tascam PA-30 rackmount that would fit better if I did that. OK to do or evil?

I'm not familiar with that specific amp, but it should be OK. Where is the heatsink located? Dissipation is the only thing I can think of offhand to be concerned with.
edit: Found the owner's manual easy enough. 1U with no external heatsink. Just make sure it's well ventilated if some vents get blocked.
