Hi renjiish
What's written on that transistor? Is it S2435 TI122J How do you know it's a fet? What brand and type of amp do you have? Greetings /Hugo |

i removed it from voxson, italian made amplifier.on the pcb it had given the sourse and drain markings.from that i understood thatit is an fet.so i replaced with 2sk163 from hitachi.it is working fine even though the treble quality is degraded. if i can find the original replacement it will be very helpfull for me.

Just try a Bf 245 B; this is the typical european j-fet, it should do for most cases.
