Question Arcam delta 290 v Cambridge audio 740A

I own both Arcam delta 290 and Cambridge audio 740A , totally different sound "signature" if i may say .
I love the bass mids and treble on the CA740a , the mids and treble on the arcam are ok, but the bass is bad , warm powerfull but so out of " focus " , not tight in any way.
Iīve heard other arcam delta 290 and they all sound like this (nothing wrong with mine) , the only upgrade i did was replacing power supply capacitors for 10000mf 63v , didnīt change the sound only made it more powerfull.
Maybe this is really and old amp and better leave it as it is or anyone knows how to upgrade/fix this ?

You have answered your own question regarding the design in that you're not happy with the sound, so, if you think it may be modified to sound more like better quality Mosfet amos, either: (1) Scrap the amplifier board sections and fit up new amp. modules from the many mosfet types, including Quasis, posted here frequently. (2) Draw up the amplifier schematic in a form that is conventionally drawn. The original is either intentionally confusing or just untrained drafting. Maybe folks would be more helpful if they could read what you have.
