What a shocker the output stage is an inverted darlington so the collector are all connected in parallel to the load However I find to my utter amazement that none of the collectors are isolated from the grounded heatsink only! The heatsink compound is isolating the collectors from the gnd
Is this a production error ? But the working channel is exactly the same
For a 1000 watt amplifier the circuit board traces are very thin on the output lines
Does any one no the history of these Chinese units ?

Getting further into this there is no need for transistor isolation the output is locked to ground and what is normally the 0 volt line is forced to move up and down! The only amplifier I have ever seen like this is a Trace Elliot guitar amplifier. We seem to learn something new every da.y I am trying to trace out the pcb but it is not very clear at all
any help with a schematic would be appreciated

Ah, the trusty Crown "grounded bridge" topology. Sounds like it anyway. Not uncommon on high-power amps. There also is the single-ended version where the signal is going through the big filter caps - free DC protection. Been discussed here now and then.

thanks for that i have been making a study of this both sides af the basic power amp are working the b channel output protection is being locked out by the over heat protection
the pcb is very poorly designed but a schematic would help me sort it in minutes i am sure
the protection via relay seems to have a no of inputs re temp and offset etc
but i am enjoying the struggle

The only experience of Warrior Audio amps I have encountered is with a DA800.
It was prone to overheating, so I added extra fans that gave it a through flow which helped. I gave it to a free party crew for a suicide rig. At least it got some use!

Thanks for the input The warrior is a typical Chinese product but in some ways is a remarkable engineering effort where the main criterion is low cost
