Hey there.
The other day a friend from a computer store offered me some malfunctioning computer speakers. While checking them to see wich ones could be saved I found one made from only 3 transistors and a few other components. I will try to post a picture later. The design is quite funny because they faked a stereo design by using a dual ganged pot for the volume and then mixing the two channels together But the design interested me because of the simplicity and the low part count. I've been looking for a design like this one to teach some electronics to my nephews but what other designs do you guys know? I want something made with discrete components, not chips, so that I can show them in the oscilloscope how each stage and each component behaves. Thank you |

Shows a modified version of a decent sounding simple amplifier. The original was built on a single aluminum plate. |
