First post here, looks like a great forum!
Picked up a Adcom GFA-5002 50W amp for $25 the other day "as-is". After cleaning up the literally hundreds of 0603 chip caps that somehow got inside (???!!), I fired it up. I can hear the power relay and muting relay (?) click, red power light comes on, no other lights, but no output. +/- 40V on the rails, all fuses look good. No obvious signs of torture or distress (in fact it looks quite nice). Does anyone have a schematic for this? I hate to cough up $20 to Adcom for a schematic of 13 year old kit. And if anyone experienced with these can offer up suggestions on what to look at first, I'd appreciate it. Thanks! |
