Sansui AU-D11MkII as power amp

Recently I acquired a Sansui AU-D11 MKII in working condition. The only problem is selector knob, volume and input connectors.

Since I have heard great things about this amp, I want to turn it into a poweramp. But im a bit stuck...

Is it possible to connect a pre amp directly to the Driver Amp Circuit board (F-4266 & F-4267) or will this also bypass the differential stage?

And what is your problem with the input connectors, selector and volume? Are they damaged?

The volume pot and selector is worn out and/or damaged. I tried to clean them, but it diddnt help. Since I plan on using my preamp to get remote control it doesn't really matter
