Hi Guys,
My HK6600 just started to have its right channel go out. It will turn on and play fine for about a minute then slowly fade out. If I put my ear up against the speaker i can faintly hear it. This is happening on all inputs too. I have the service manual so I will begin the slow, grueling process of checking each component in the power amp section. I wanted to check with you guys first and find out where a good place to start looking would be. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks. |

I think I found the problem. I plugged my speakers into the "Speaker 2" posts and now its been working fine for the past couple hours. I'm going to clean out the selector switch and try the "Speaker 1" posts again.
