Can I suggest a "tours of the works" series.
A local manufacturer opens their doors to a group of DIYaudio Members for a guided tour and listening sessions. Doesn't matter if there are only 4 that turn up or a dozen.
Involving local branches of Engineering Institutions would gather more interest.

I have Tannoy over in Coatbridge (Scotland). Maybe I should make a phone call or two to hear their response to the idea?
