I understand.
I have an other question. In your own schematic of the input stage what is the function of the components I have put circles around and what type/valu do they have? |

the opamp replaces the second transistor of a two transistor CCS.
The chip before the opamp is monitoring other signals and using those to control the output of the opamp. The chip could be monitoring, start up, output offset, internal temperature, heatsink temperature, input offset, oscillation, excessive current, loss of AC power, etc. If any of these showed as a potential failure mode the opamp would starve the CCS and effectively switch OFF the input pair. |

Thank you for the explanations!
I agree it looks similar to Telos 250. Why did you not use the cascoded output stage from the Telos 5000, it suppose to produce less distortion? |
