I have been away from the site for a few years now and I've missed a lot. Even still back when I was on the forum, I didn't spend a whole lot of time in the solid state section.

What I am looking for is a good project to satisfy my urge to spend more money on stereo equipment . I have never built anything more complex than my BrianGT LM4870 chipamp, which I am quite pleased with, but I am looking for a worthy step up from that. That being said, I did go to school for electronics (15 years ago) so I should be capable... I think... since technically I am a technician

What are some of the better designs that I should be looking at? I want at least 100W (but prefer more like 150W) RMS into 8 ohm but also 4 ohm stable and would prefer but am not limited to something that I can buy boards for.
