Suggest me an amplifier schematic :)

Hi,

A friend of mine is considering to make a DIY amp, with 100W output to 8 ohms and 200W to 4 ohms. It would be class AB and stereo, and it's probably going to be pushed occasionally.

First idea I got was to modify Rod Elliott's P3a to have two pairs of output transistors.. but any other ideas?

Does it need to be high sound quality?
The better the amp, the more it costs and more difficult to make.
Mosfets are more rugged and possibly easier and cheaper to get than P3a BJT's.

It should be high or at least decently so sound quality.. Price of BJTs isn't really an issue since On semi sends free samples (up to five pieces per type) just for the price of shipping.

Any other ideas? There's a 2SK1058/2SJ162 schematic (and PCB) in a DIY book I have, so that could also be option..
