Good Sub for 2SA961S grade B or C

Hey y'all I'm looking for a good substitute for a Toshiba 2SA961S TO220 to replace in my Yamaha B2 meter board. It is used as a voltage regulator...Any recommendations?

if its just used as part of a zener regulator, any TO-220 device should work, such as a TIP41C. I cant find anything about the 2SA961 though.

Whats the PCB board designator (TR3xx)? Are you sure your not referring to 2SA671? A TIP41A will get the job done for that.
