Default aura evolution av100

first off hi to everyone,i am new to this forum.i was interested in audio many moons ago but could never afford what i wanted 1980s.butnow i can buy it second hand for a lot less in real terms.i was wondering if anyone had any suggestions ,on a aura av100 amp the right channel is very low and distorted i noticed when i opened the amp that r39 resistor was black would this explain the problem thanks for any advice paul
