Hi, Transistors have been around for 50 years or so.Well there is currently
the class D switching amps or some other linear types of topologies. But
ultimately people will fall back to the excuse that humans have different
tastes so it is pointless to debate further.( to keep the peace:D).

Best advice I can offer is to learn what science attemps to unite
various theories to explain how things or life/universe work with what
is known as the "Unified field theory". It is interesting I can assure you
and that means you have to do your homeork.

PS if you know why an apple falls to the ground then you have a lead to
somewhere.Does science know? What causes gravity?....

how to jump start into making a solid state amplifier w/o digging too much theory. I learn better / faster by doing hands-on work..
