My Apt 1 Power Amp has a fuzzy channel as of a couple weeks ago. Got it and my Holman Preamp in 1980. The preamp was rebuilt about three years ago, but somehow I lost the contact info for the guy who did it.(It had a bad push contact switch, but due to its age, also had the electrolytics replaced while it was down.)
I tried to contact someone here who seemed to do rebuilds, but I didn't know if he took on outside work. I haven't gotten a reply, so I guess not. So, does anyone have any suggestions for getting this repaired/refreshed? Thanks! Ron H |

i do, but i'm currently working on one, and have another project i'm backlogged on. so i wouldn't be able to get it done right away. if you're still interested PM me. there's also an ongoing thread here:
APT 1 power amp – undeservedly forgotten but i also noticed you already found it. if you tried emailing me, you have to remove the part of the email address in parenthesis, which is there to keep spammers from inundating me with viagra ads and get rich quick schemes.
