Default 3240 PE unstable

Hi

I dont have schematic for this amp, but let me tell u onething. This amp is one piece of $$it!! if ur o/p stage keeps blowing up, I doubht it will be alright again.

I changed all the comps!! all the comps!! but no difference.

D 669, bf 469 transistors used in driver stages r no obsolete, what u get is duplicate chinese stuff! unreliable.

My suggestion would be to get away with it.
yes I am pessimistic

I also have a NAD 3240PE and I believe my output stage keeps on blowing fuses when I turn it on, are there any schematics for this amp so I can fix it?

Schematic you will get there as PDF for free, but in bad resolution:

Changing semiconductors today is a risky business unless you are sure they are not counterfeit - especially 'blanket change' - you may well end up with an amp in a worse state than before.
With these amps it is crucial to get the Power Envelope circuits working right, otherwise they will be permanently dtuck on the high supply voltage and yes they WILL blow outputs as they will easily go out of sustainable SOA limits. When an output blows, they often end up destroying the switch transistor for the PE circuit, and it goes short - therefore locking the amp at a way too high supply voltage for the single pair of output transistors it has.
