Default Searched - no luck.

I need suggestions for used high power SS mono blocks.

I'm thinking 250 per side minimum. Thinking on ESL build.

Champagne tastes-beer budget. Thoughts run to Carver, Adcom, some Parasounds. Saw what looked like some serious older Denons the other day.

Any suggestions under $350 per side appreciated.

I would consider Class D Amps if someone can point me to an easy build. I plan on buying an existing Pre.

Yes- I know some ESL's supposedly don't need high wattage. Not willing to take the chance and too much can't hurt the equation.

TIA

Hi ...I was making confusion between watts and dollars ,and between DYIing and buying finished products . I just can mix them and say : Class D ,which can be made using pre-assembled amp units ,might be efficient (dollars/watt/quality)for sub-woofer ,even if some say it has the maturity to play fullrange without 'tricks' . Of course you'll need to mount by yourself a PSU for it ,which will cost you around 250$ or 350 $ Watt-dollars
In the end ,whatever choice you may take ,you'll end in hearing (when playing music ...) a well done PSU delivering much current

Thanks Pico.

I'm thinking 'no replies' a result of the ridiculously low amount I stated as budget.

There are used amps out there at prices I mentioned. I've unfortunately been burned on Ebay 6 times already. Buying used at AudioGon has worked out but prices then go higher.

Class D has been going through my mind and other Forums I frequent give them high marks on SQ even using several channels but I'm to a degree doubtful.

Hate to spend money being unsure.
