Looking for schematic for carver pm-350. This amp goes into 'protect' as soon as it is powered up. I started troubleshooting, and I have found that the resistance on the secondary legs of the transformer are reading under 1 ohm (red & orange). This doesn't seem right. I also found a few diodes that are passing voltage both ways... anyone? Thanks!

Thanks Craig.
Going through the test procedure in section 5 of the manual. Here are the values I have come up with thus far: (RP-100 & RP-200 bias controls for minimum idle current: fully CCW. RP-1 minimum secondary voltage: fully CCW. Level pots: fully CW) readings: +/-33.7VDC on large filter caps +/-37.4VDC on cathode of D19 and anode of D21 +/-14.3VDC on cathode of D15 and anode of D17 +/-3.22VDC on U2 pins 4 and 8 +/-3.8VDC on U101 pins 4 and 8 |
