Makes me wonder about this one also:
2SJ18-SONY Transistor x 1 pieces 2SJ18 - eBay (item 160523401406 end time Jan-25-11 03:08:04 PST)

Has anybody purchased anything from this vendor?

I see they frequently list unobtainium with no pictures/

Little_Diode is a legit company... Overpriced but legit. All of the parts I have received from them have been originals not counterfeit.
So many people here on this forum are always whining about bogus parts; I don't think that they are that prevalent. And fakes are usually pretty easy to tell from the originals as they don't even look similar.
C'mon people quit being so paranoid... You get what you pay for.
Enough of my rant.

One more thing about Little-Diode... If a SS part is really hard to source, they usually have it. But you will have to pay.

I have had several of the Sony amps with the 2SK60 and 2SJ18 all
labeled Sony on the top line, the 2S number on the middle line, and then
a ranking number on the bottom line. Not one of the VFETs I have ever
seen are marked with the Hitachi logo, which makes me curious.
