Default Help to fix Cyrus IIIi amp

Good evening everyone.

I was kindly gifted a Cyrus IIIi amp (second hand) by my ex bf. I has been a god send and I love it. However recently something has gone wrong with it and the sound from the speakers is almost inaudible and the sound is very muggy when you can hear it.

It was working fine until one day I was hoovering and the cord to the laptop pulled out accidentally , which as fine but as I had not realised and although the vacuum was not that close to the cord, is seemed to be interfering with it and a loud deep humming noise was coming from the speakers and the muggy sound came directly when I went to use the amp after this. (PS Ex BF told me not to even bother mentioning this as it os possibly irrelevant, but I thiought I would just incase it isnt)

Any ideas what the diagnosis could be?
