I am repairing an old solid state eminar e400 pa amplifier, it seems to have a different transformer in it because the schematic I have says +40v -40v but I am measuring +55volts -55v would I be able to install some resistors or voltage regulators to bring the voltage down or would it be ok to run it as is? It is the type of eminar amp with t03 2n3773 transistors mounted on heatsinks on the outside.

Eminar E400 schematics

Hi,
The overvoltage raises the max (clipping) output power from 200 W.
(80 Volt top/top into 4 ohms) to 378 W.
This not good for an amp designed to be 2x 200Watt.
Is it possible to mail me the schematics on the Eminar E400?

Cheers,
Bas
