I needed a supply of +/- 64 volts DC for two 200 w audio amps that i built.My problem is that the toroidal transformer secondary voltages are 55 volts. I built a regulated power supply using Mosfets as regulators and i am able to adjust the voltages to 64 volts.The unit is also able to deliver the required current.I connected both amps to it and so far so good.I would like to know if anyone has used a regulated supply to power the output devices of an audio amp. The quality of the sound reproduction should improve with a stable supply.
