Adcom GCA-510 DC Offset

Hi,

My adcom gca-510 measures 2.2mV DC on the left channel and 67mV on the right, why are thy so different? is that normal, or is there a problem?

as caps age, their values shift, resulting in the adjustment settings becoming non stable. problem is trying to adjust, becomes a moving target, unless you track down the defective caps. I'm working on a DC offset regulator, that will control the dc offset, and keep it within a targeted window. The regulator is an external device that connects between the speakers and the amp. it uses battery biasing and large metal film caps to control the DC offset. It's easier and cheaper than doing a major re-cap job. My costs is about 20 bucks minus the case and terminals.
