300W with 24-30v rails? This would only work for a 2 ohm load but would be far beyond the SOA for 2N3055.

I'd say this one is a waste of time, your better off going with the 500 watt amplifier with limiter from apex audio if you really need this kinda power.

You will need more than 2 pairs of transistors per channel (more like 8-10 pairs), and certainly better devices than 2955/3055, to get 300W into 8 ohms... and at least 85V supply rails.

It will need a huge heatsink, and will not be cheap.
