Simples for you experts (fan)

hey chaps
The time is drawing closer to the almighty re-capping of me ol'beauty's
The musical fidelity MA65 Monobloks but id like to get everything ready before i start ie: all the caps and a fan.

its not a good pic but that heatsink is U shaped upside down and gets very very hot, it has the whole top of the amp when attached as a heatsink.
Anyway i want to attach a small fan to blow cold in or suck hot air out from the end, now the fan is fairly easy just find small enough 1 and screw it to the side which has a removable ventilated piece,

But what do i wire the damn thing to ?

This basically looks like an MF A1 integrated amp, without the preamp and probably with the two channels in bridge. These amps are a PITA for reliability.

Use good 105c rated capacitors such as Panasonic FC's.

Thanks Jaycee ive read lots about the old A1's but to be honest these have been brilliant never a fault with them and still sound excellent, i think they are as gathered from Mark HERE a bit more updated than the A1 so hopefully will last longer ? i leave them on all the time too.
im planning to use 105c not sure which 1's yet RS do some rubycons cheap enough but if you recommend Pannys then ill go for them any idea where to get them ?
its the psu caps im struggling with as can only find 85c type.
have you worked on these Jaycee just curious how easy it is to get the pcb out without destroying everything ?

Any good brand will do to be honest. Rubycon will also be fine.

I do recall Mark's site saying that it is difficult to get 105c power supply caps that will fit in the space allowed, so you might have to just stick to 85c ones.

I've never worked on them but TBH i do not think much of the circuit design, and if they run as hot as Mark says they do well then that is just not good at all. I'm not a believer in class A for power amps - although I have built a class A biased headphone amp!
