Default Hybrid project with inverted SRPP

because G3 PHENIX works so good
(I think is a version from Aikido)
I would like use the same configuration in Bipolar output stage
what do you think?

From my calculations that amp has a huge gain and will clip very easily.

I designed a very similar amp with SRPP front end but with MOSFTE outputs and it sounds very clean.

Default on simulator

synthesis is just awful, and the capacitor causes phase shift at 1khz.
Distortion only 30db down== about .5% thd. Up and down slew rates very
non-symetrical...
but with tubes works very good
probably need one stage less

Default class A

other reason for failure might be the class
must be set "A"
or overlap with complete

the design in the first post's attachment looks to me like a white cathode follower--note that while the input goes to the upper triode, the upper triode has an anode R and lacks a cathode R. see: http://www.tubecad.com/2007/04/blog0104.htm note that in the last schematic before the "Pentode" heading in this article shows how to apply akido-ish PSRR enhancement to a white cathode follower.

Trying to drive an output bjt with capacitive coupling is just wrong to start with. The Akido tricks are designed for single rail supplies. You can simplify the drive for your lower output bjt and get much better results. Yes using this topology requires full class A SE bias. Gonna burn about 110 watts for 25 watts output with +/- 24 volt rails.

in case it wasn't clear i was merely commenting on the possible misidentification in the OP (as Akido) of the TUBE part of the G3 Phenix's topology in the OP attachment. he may not have meant to say the tube part was Akido but some might read it that way and the tube part is not Akido -- as should be clear from a careful reading the cite in my post. hope this makes the intent of my post clearer.
