Hi i was wondering if anyone could give me some info on this amp..I have a chance to pick one up for 300 dollars..it works great except the meter lights aren't working. My concern is that while doing a search for this amp i came across a thread where someone had mentioned that they where prone to catching fire..is this correct? Any other info good or bad about this amp would be greatly appreciated

Working in a repair show means everything I see is broken, but while I have seen a lot of dead GAS products, I have never seen one that had caught on fire.
The Son is a nice amplifier, and it will benefit from having the electrolytic caps replaced.
