Hello, can anyone suggest a good source of emitter resistors in the UK, particularly weird non-european values for repairing chinese amps. I currently need 0.2R 5W ceramic.
Cheers, kevin |

I just did a restore using the Ohmite Audio Gold, you can get them in the .22 2-5 watt. Very nice clean part, very low noise non-inductive. They compair to the Carddock at a fraction of the price. I do not know if they have them in your area but you can also order them direct from Ohmite in small quanity.

I usually use CPC or Farnell. Have a look at Farnell part number 173-5119.

I have a few spare. If it's just for one amp I could send them to you.
Cheers.

Hello, thanks for the offers, I really want to keep it at 0.2R otherwise I'll have to replace all 8 of them in the amp which will add to the cost, this is a domestic amp (Tandy Realistic) for a customer and it's very price concious.

cheers but as this is a domestic amp I dont want to bodge 2 in to make up the value, they are a safety-critical component and as a trader I am not allowed to break the rules!
