What substitutes are you using for J49/K134?

What are people using to repair Halfer DH-220 style output stages? I need matched replacements for j49/k134.

Hafler used EXICON ECF10P16, ECF10N16 in the last production of those amplifiers.

2SJ162/2SK1058 will do it perfectly provided you
have a bias trimpot to reset the quiescent current
and that you can live with the different casing...

Thanks for the tips. Odd... No one is currently producing equivalent J49/j134 complementary MOS devices in a standard to-3 case? I think the Exicon 10p16/10n16 are also long out of production. I'd like to see how people are mounting the power tab style mosfets where the aluminum "can" is supposed to go. Per the Renesas datasheet the 2sj160 looks adequate for Hafler style ~60V rails.

They are 120V Vgs , safety margin is close to 0 with 120V total
voltage supply..
Better to stay in the cautious side and go for the 2SJ162 160V Vgs.

HAFLER (HITACHI) 2SJ56 2SK176 200V 8A T0-3 MOSFET pr - eBay (item 380260810461 end time Sep-18-10 11:45:58 PDT)

Direct replacements for the J49/K134 but with a higher voltage rating. Matched on a Hafler tester. The seller can provide matched quads if you ask.
