What the best way to add crunch to a SS preamp ? The amp is a Peavey Mace VT, I have modded the effects channel changing the FB loops out for better distortion, now I want to get a good marshall type crunch. If anyone needs a schematic I have 1 to post.

I dont even know what is 'crunch tone' ?????
But if some know, it would be The Guitar People. They have circuits for most effects, distortions & sounds.
