Mission Cyrus One - Is it all over?

Hi - Apologies, I am a newbie.

Had Brother Ted round Friday for Birthday bash. Ended when the amp stopped (was being very Loud ;-)
No warning, no smoke, no smell. Looked this morning and the two Fastblow fuses have gone. Going to get 20mm QB 2A 10 PKStock: 131£20mm QB 2A 10 PKStock: 131£1.99"20mm QB 2A 10 PK Stock: 131 £1.99" from Maplins Monday.

Should I just "Try it", fingers crossed or could I make things worse? This amp has blown before with the caps (C63 and C64 ?) being replaced with (Tantalum ?) Caps which If I am looking at the right bits are Gold cans with 470/50 and ROE on the end. I think the originals were blue. Anyway long story short they "look" ok.

What next - come back when I have tried new fuses?

It depends why the fuses blew.
If it was simply too much volume then replacing them will see the amp play again.

If something else has gone then the new fuses will just blow again.

Have just tried new fuses and Suppers Ready is playing fine

, apologies if not everyones cup of "tea" (groan).
