Hi,
I just compare an SE Power Follower with other topology (e.g. F5), and seems that the SE one has less speed than push pull, common source power amp (F5 - as in other thread/forums, known as the fastest amplifier design). Both in Class A. Is there anything wrong in the SE design (e.g. DoZ Pre amp used for gain/VAS vs JFET in F5), or SE power follower will have less speed than push pull common source? What I know (theoritically), BJTs have more speed than FETs (CMIIW). Thanks, Ervin L |
