Hello! My NAD T743 receiver has got the power amplifier inputs for the F,R,C channels. However there are no power amplifier inputs for the surround channels. According to the service manual it should be pretty easy to accommodate the receiver with them. The idea is to disconnect the preamp output of the surround channels from the surround power amplifier and connect instead an external cable with RCA jacks. The problem is when you disconnect the preamp output from the power amp input the receiver goes into the protection mode. The same if you connect an external cable with RCA jacks. Any ideas how to bypass the protection?
