Unfortunately the most of this BjT silicon types are developed for switching applications. But I think, some of this types are also for linear audio application. To determine this exactly the original data sheets are necessary.
Except Delco-GM all oversized TO-3's are made in Japan.
Two different oversized TO-3's you will find so as one normal TO-3 sketch drawing for compare.

Also an amplifier equipped with 2SK77B is on the marked.
Unfortunately the outline is complete different.

You can also add the 2SJ27 to the list, it's the complementary to the 2SK77, also made by Yamaha, and never used in a commercial product.

Interesting. Unfortunately I don't find more exact information so as datasheet and images about google. Do you have a genuine Yamaha databook from those days?
If not, perhaps you know the exactly title of such a book.
In this case please let me know about this thread:
Exactly titles of old transistor data books from NEC, SONY and Fujitsu (1975 - 1985)
Perhaps I can order this book for copies about my local library.
