Default Advice needed on replacing an Adcom GFA 545

Hi guys,
Been browsing these pages recently and made decision to post my first cry for help
I've been using an Adcom 545 amp since 1992 (and preamp) to power my Bose 401 speakers. Last weekend started to get a lot of distortion coming thru the right channel. At first I thought it was a blown speaker but after some experimentation I was able to rule that out and it looks like it's the right channel of the amp misbehaving.
Firstly is anyone familiar with such a fault on these amps and is it an easy fix (bear in mind I am in the UK and we don't have Adcom representation here).
Secondly even though I love my Adcom I'm starting to think about replacing the amp with something else. I need a two channel amp with 50 watts rms minimum (don't mind getting a more powerful one but price may become a factor).
What other amps can anyone recommend pls? No silly suggestions as money is a factor here but I'd like something of same quality of slightly better than my Adcom.
Thanks.

Follow this thread to request schematics for your amp to attempt a repair:

As for a replacement, you have vast options that will work great. Just peruse eBay for the most options, price within your budget, and delivery to your door.
