Power amp circuit with PrAT wanted

Anyone has any amplifier design which can rival Naim in terms of PrAT ?

Pace, Rythm and timing.

Take my advice and don't believe a word of it.

Build a Leach and you will have a really good amplifier.

One can build a Naim clone, will the result sound the same as a Naim?
Will it satisfy the listener?

That's an interesting question Andrew. I guess that circuit layout would be a variable if a non-Naim pcb was used, and also any component substitutions such as PSU caps, etc., would have an influence.

Also, how similar do two Naims sound, given production tolerances?!?

With many folks I have a suspicion that it might be influenced by how much money they have saved!

The ASR Emitter has better PRAT than the Naim top of the line.
Either way, i consider foot-tapping essential in a good system, but the amplifier is NOT the only factor in achieving it.
