[QUOTE=djk;3430864I used to buy the blank $6 Pass A40 boards (for the 40W class A design) and change every part on them to run at ±95V with six pair of MJ15024/24 for outputs and 2SA1302/2SC3281 for drivers. It would deliver between 600W/4Ω~800W/4Ω depending on the transformer VA.[/QUOTE]

Hi DJK,

Post schematic if possible.

Thanks.

Roger.

"Post schematic if possible."

Same basic schematic, skip the FET, mount the bias transistor on the heatsink with the outputs.

Use high voltage parts everywhere.

You would need to make the board, it is no longer available for $6.

If doing a new board layout I would add anothe pad to the 2nd voltage amplifier and its current source, that way you could use the MJE340/350 pair, as well as the MPUS10/U60 that I used (unavailable), and the 2N3440/2N5415 (a common industrial part). 2N54xx/2N55xx parts for all the small plastic types.

dear apex,
in circuit input electrolytic cap is 2.2and 100micro farad respectively, but in component plan there is 1 micro and 47 micro farad what is right.regards

Use this pcb as start point and AX11 schematic with MJ15003/15004 in output... and you will have nice smal PA amp with overcurrent protect (BC546, BC556, 1k, 470R...)
