"Sound" was a Japanese firm that was the actual maker of many Lafayette tube and transistor sets. Here is a very early solid state amp - I bet earlier than the Kenwood - that looks like a Lafayette tube model, has all germanium transistors, and phase splitting with transformers. Schematics on the last page.

In 1957, Vega introduced the world’s first solid state amplifier, rated at 125 RMS

...I read about
vintage amp amplifier, effects dating, serial numbers, CMI, Carlsbro, Cruise Audio
The model-No include the cabinet for the loudspeaker is "ER-123" (ER123)
I dont find any informations about the schematic and photos about the internal construction. Who knows more ??

I read this:
It was in 1957 that Vega introduced the world’s first solid state amplifier, rated at 125 RMS: it was a power house by the standards of its time.
The amplifier’s circuit was influenced by a 10,000-watt sonar amp Gene designed for Bendix Corp.

Where I can find more details ?

Japan's first solid state amplifier: Trio Supreme 1

the only information, that I find, is this:

Kenwood SUPREME 1 on TVK

no inside pics, no schematics
Actually Trio/Kenwood claims they did first commercial solid state amp in 1962 so earlier then Supreme 1.
In their doc I found only blurry small pic. Maybe someone recognizes it and can hint me with model name? For me design on that pic looks like something newer than 1962

Reviewed some old magazines and found out that Transis-Tronics TECH S-15 or S-25 where sold year or two earlier (in 1960 or 61) than this Kenwood. Any way still looking for first Kenwood solid state amp.
