The SE-400 and the SE-408 are here wrong, because there are true complementary power device in use; go to post #89 about
What was the first Complementary AB bipolar amplifiers?
The SE 401 and SE402 (that is the same device than SE401, but factory installed) uses Germanium power devices without type number on the mounted TO-3's. Also no schematics are to find

Default Vox Solid State "Super Beatle V1141" Series from mid 1965 - supplement to post #15

The Vox "Super Beatle V1141" instrumential Amp was equipped with 2N2292C (2N2292) Germanium Power Devices from Solidev Ltd. Perhaps this transistors produce the so called "beatles"-sound.

Default Vox first SS Amp T60 ("T 60) equipped with Mullard's OC28

Any info about the designer? Maybe Tom Jennings or Dick Denney? First Edition lauched either end 1963 or begin 1964 (see schematic). The power output devices, Mullard's OC28 certainly have a very good reputation. Inside photos I don't find. Perhaps one of you can try contact the seller from the ebay auction Item No 190398362335
