Overview from world's best historical and currently available electr/audio Magazines

Good work , Jan. At least you are not pushing $hitty designs like the "tigersaurus". We have come a LONG WAY . I was much more frustrated in my 20's than now ( in my 40's). :)

OS
In what respect?

I did laugh at the "don't need a fan or blower" statement...Whenever I ran em, the heatsinks quickly ran out of heat capacity..

Purchased and built 8 of them in 1978. Very quickly learned to rebuild them into 3ru cabinets with 5 inch fans.

I did find the 13 turns of wire around a supply cap to be weird.

Also, the design was flawed in that the 1/4 watt 10k resistor (R14) was undersized, it needs to be 1/2 watt.

But other than that one resistor, I never ever blew a tigersaurus up. And trust me, I abused em.

If you think they sounded bad, then you clearly didn't find nor fix the internal grounding flaw.

(strangely enough, I remember 128 dollars, not the ad's 154.)

are there also vintage magazines in this kind from yugoslavia (radio electronics, Hifi-Audio) ?
If yes, please let me know the naming; maybe you can post several cover pics.
any news?

Follow vintage magazines seems to be very interesting:
Audio Engineering

Inner Magazine - Electro-Voice Patrician 800
HiFi & Music Review
Magazines 1952-1962 | Vintage Vacuum Audio
The last URL is an online portal for down- and upload of vintage magazines.
Such a portal was useful also by several other vintage magazines from the above mentioned.

"To help the radio amateurs" (VRL) - a series of brochures on radio amateur topics, published by the DOSAAF publishing house together with the DOSAAF Central Radio Club from 1956 to 1992.

Each brochure in the series is a collection of articles describing amateur radio structures for various purposes and degrees of complexity, methods for designing and calculating radio electronic devices. The collections provide schematic diagrams, descriptions of structures and methods for calculating the nodes of receiving, sound recording, amplifying, measuring, television, HF and VHF equipment , as well as various reference and calculation materials. One to five issues of 60 to 80 small-format pages each were published per year. A total of 114 issues were published (No. 18 was not published, so the last issue has number 115). Brochures are designed for a wide range of radio amateurs and specialists.

From the German magazine "HIFI exklusiv" that there was both in Din-A5 book format available (newer editions) and in a large format (from the first years of publication 1978-1982), which was larger than the usual Din-A4 size, I am looking for PDF files to download. In this issues are very interesting test reviews and interviews. In the attachment are three examples. In the issue from first image there is an interview wih Mr. Bob Stuart or Allen Boothroyd (Meridian) concerning inverted and non inverted mode (kind of feedback topology) on operational amplifiers and in the issue from the third image is to find an interview with Mr. Nelson Pass concerning Class-A - as I recall correct.
Maybe one of the members can scan and upload this pages
